Calypso
We rescued a husky off the streets about a year ago. She is named Calypso which means one who hides. Multiple vets think she was on the streets for several months, she was emaciated and afraid of being inside, of all men, most women, and all loud noise or sudden movements. She had to be pulled out of a heap of garbage on some lady's side yard. We posted her on forums and checked at several vets, clinics, and shelters for a chip and lost notices and after about a month we registered her while we fostered her.

Calypso is spayed and now a healthy weight. She is now on Trazodone for anxiety. We have put her through group classes and private classes where she graduated from basic obedience training. She will follow basic commands such as sit, down, come, leave it, wait. She loves to play with the other dogs that we have in the house and loves to be outdoors, camping, and go on car rides. She walks well on a leash with minor corrections.

She is exceptionally quiet for a husky and will only have the occasional vocalization. She hasn't been introduced to other animals or children yet. She tends to hide in dark small spaces until she is comfortable in a new environment and likes to find shelter in a crate. She is a very loving dog once she gets comfortable with you and loves to cuddle with big slobbery kisses. She is a spayed Female, 2 years 1 months old, Housetrained, Crate Trained, Lead Trained, has Obedience training, good with Large Dogs, good with Small Dogs, has Rabies vaccinations, has DHLPP vaccinations, on Heartworm preventative, microchipped, has Papers.
