QBert is shy and afraid of so many things but he wants to love 🫶 so much. He does love his buddy he met in the shelter, Ivory 💞, very much. He cares for her and looks for her when she leaves the room. Though they did not come into the shelter together, they met and played there during their socialization time with volunteers. They both came to the same foster home and enjoy playing with each other and each other’s company very much. 🐺🐺
He gives sweet kisses and the best handshakes 🤝. He likes to follow you and give you his paw 🐾 to tell you he needs scratches. He likes elementary children and trusts them over big scary tall people. He responds lovingly to getting low on his level. He’s begun to trust his foster mama and get very excited to see her every morning and wags his whole body with joy. 🥰
He would need doggie companions, a secure, cement floor kennel and lined fencing if ever left in the yard. He’s just re-learning what leashes 🦮 are but love, calm and treats go so far with him. He’s all healed now too and his foster mom is working on getting healthy weight on him. 📈
He is a neutered Male, 2 years 3 months old, Crate Trained, Lead Trained, good with Children, good with Large Dogs, has Rabies vaccinations, has DHLPP vaccinations, microchipped.
