He is sweet, curious, and into everything. He is also a "talker" and loves to tell you about his life. Rocky is currently recovering from surgery after being hit by a car resulting in a fractured spine and 2 broken rear legs.
He is receiving professional physical therapy and he is really doing well and walks and runs on all 4 legs.
Every day he gains more strength in his rear legs and will continue to get stronger as he gains muscle mass over time.
After all the work with many people he is now ready to look for his forever home, Rocky will benefit from walking, hiking, and lots of play.
He is also very smart and loves people, other dogs, attention, toys, rolling on his side, and belly rubs. Rocky is house trained and does well in both a crate and an outside kennel. He is also learning some basic commands such as sit and come. He e is young, he will need to go to at least basic obedience training. He is a puppy and acts like a puppy which means things left out may end up in his mouth. Rocky is looking for a loving and supportive home with folks who have time for him and make him part of their family.
He is a neutered Male, 8 years old, Housetrained, Crate Trained, Lead Trained, has Obedience training, good with Children, good with Large Dogs, good with Small Dogs, has Rabies vaccinations, has DHLPP vaccinations, microchipped.
