My young and energetic foster dog Mia is looking for her furever home! Not yet a year and a half, Mia is still very much a puppy, 53 lbs, red coat, beautiful blue eyes with thick eyeliner, an open mask, and liver-colored nose, she's UTD on all vaccinations and spayed. Mia is fun and playful, and very friendly to everyone she meets, both people and dogs; she has a Golden Retriever personality in that she loves to run up to people to visit. Her personality is that of a scrappy tomboy over a dainty princess, and she likes to rough-house. She's a smart girl and food-oriented so will be easy to train. Mia's family in Fresno had to give her up due to unexpected serious health problems (not related to Mia), and she's only been with them and now me, her foster mom on the Peninsula, so this is not pup scarred by abuse or the harsh shelter environment. Her ideal adopter is a very active couple or family with older kids who will hike, run, and bike with Mia every day or take her to the dog park; she needs daily stimulation, minimum 60 min. A male dog of similar or slightly older age in the household would be fine so they could play. She needs basic and intermediate obedience training and a firm hand to guide her as she pushes limits; she does great off-leash, though, so not an escape artist. Potential adopters should live in the SF Bay Area and be available for a home-check. Previous Husky (or similar) experience preferred. Re-homing fee: $250.

She is a spayed Female, 8 years old, Housetrained, Crate Trained, good with Children, good with Large Dogs, has Rabies vaccinations, has DHLPP vaccinations, on Heartworm preventative.
