Caesar is an approximately 4 year old, neutered male Native American Indian Dog. He weighs in at a whopping 95 lbs and is a sensitive, gentle giant. This big guy was surrendered because the toddler in the home developed allergies. He had lived with the same family for his entire life and we suspect that is why he has had such a difficult transition to the shelter environment. This breed can be very devoted to their family, but reserved with strangers…and that is exactly what we're seeing with Caesar. He is wary of strangers, particularly unfamiliar men. He does take time to get to know new people, but once you're in his inner circle of friends, this guy acts like the most massive, goofy puppy. Any potential adopter should expect to need to have a couple of meet n' greets before he warms up and connects with them. Once Caesar has bonded with you, he will seek your comfort in times of stress, and your attention at nearly all other times! While in our care, Caesar has shown positive behavior around other dogs. We think Caesar will do best if adopted into a dog-savvy home where folks are expecting to help him through the transition to a new home and family.

He is a neutered Male, 11 years old, Lead Trained, good with Children, good with Large Dogs, has Rabies vaccinations, has DHLPP vaccinations, microchipped.
